Youngjin Yoo's challenge to technologists: let's re-imagine cities as computing platforms. Yoo believes cities are the most exciting, complex and compelling human-made objects. As digital citizens, we have the opportunity to change the future of our cities; we can utilize new technologies to address and solve societal problems. Generative design and technology can drive cities into the future, building urban information architecture systems alongside advancements in city planning, the construction of buildings and other infrastructure.

Youngjin Yoo is the Director of the Center for Design+Innovation at Temple University's Fox School of Business, where he runs the Urban Apps and Maps Studio, a design and tech hub for creating tools to promote urban entrepreneurship.
